Emergency situation?
Do not waste time reading if the animal is not breathing or unconscious. Call a vet immediately.
Temperature Issues / Hypothermia
If a cat feels cold to the touch, is weak, drowsy, breathing poorly, unsteady, or stops responding, this may be hypothermia.
A cat's normal body temperature is approximately 38.0-39.2°C.
In case of hypothermia, move the cat out of the cold, dry it off, cover it, and warm it gradually using warm — not hot — heat sources, without rubbing the skin.

Not a substitute for a vet
The information in this app comes from open sources and the experience of cat owners. It does not replace a consultation or an examination by a vet. Decisions about your pet's health and care are the owner's to make — if in any doubt, contact a vet.
