Emergency situation?

Do not waste time reading if the animal is not breathing or unconscious. Call a vet immediately.

CRITICAL

Severe Allergic Reaction

Sudden swelling of the face or muzzle, hives, vomiting, diarrhea, restlessness, difficulty breathing, or sudden collapse can be signs of anaphylaxis.

This can develop very quickly after an insect bite, a vaccine, a medication, or another allergen, so you cannot wait: remove the possible source if it is safe to do so, and get the cat to a veterinarian urgently.

Not a substitute for a vet

The information in this app comes from open sources and the experience of cat owners. It does not replace a consultation or an examination by a vet. Decisions about your pet's health and care are the owner's to make — if in any doubt, contact a vet.
