Emergency situation?
Do not waste time reading if the animal is not breathing or unconscious. Call a vet immediately.
Foreign Object
If a cat has swallowed thread, ribbon, a rubber band, a small toy, or another object, it may develop vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, refusal to eat, lethargy, pawing at its mouth, or straining in the litter box. If you can see a long object sticking out of the mouth or anus, do not pull on it: this can damage the intestines, and the animal needs to be examined urgently.

Not a substitute for a vet
The information in this app comes from open sources and the experience of cat owners. It does not replace a consultation or an examination by a vet. Decisions about your pet's health and care are the owner's to make — if in any doubt, contact a vet.
