Injury or Fall

Even if a cat gets up after a fall and seems "fine," it may have hidden injuries that show up later.

Until it can be examined, keep it warm, quiet, and moving as little as possible, especially if there is limping, pain, difficulty breathing, lethargy, or refusal to eat; after falls from a height, watch closely for signs of shock and head or chest injuries.
